 Fri 12th...1-2ft surf, messy and blown out, with light/moderate north westerly onshore winds first thing. The wind is forcast to increase in strength and remain blowing from a north westerly onshore direction for the remainder of the day. Not much hope of any decent surf today, although it will probably increse in in size a little with the strengthening wind and pushing tide later today.
 Enjoy your surf, stay safe. There are no lifeguards on the beaches until Easter 2010. If you're not sure about the conditions, ask for advice! Ask for advice in the surf, or surf hire shops, also check out the surf schools. If you see someone in difficulty in the sea or on the beach dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
